To be perfectly honest, not much has been happening outdoors-wise. Since I was blackballed at Mt. Hood Meadows last season, there won&#8217;t be as much snowboarding coverage as last year, so sorry for that. Odds are I&#8217;ll be in a better spot next season and have more cooperation with a resort that is interested in more than collecting season ticket fees from weekend warriors.<br \/>\nUnfortunately, the weather has not been so good for backcountry snowboarding. It&#8217;s either been too warm, freezing ass cold, or a combination of the two which creates a dangerous avalanche situation. It&#8217;s really cold right now and we are expecting a combination of snow and freezing rain for the next day or two. You want excitement? Take a drive around the local hills in your car or truck; plenty of downhill action.<br \/>\nWe are also doing some upgrades to the computers; adding and rearranging hard drives, working on the file server and getting the workstation ready for an SSD boot drive. We have also done some maintenance on the <a href=\"http:\/\/watermanatwork.com\"><strong>WatermanAtWork.com<\/strong><\/a> website, all &#8220;behind the scenes&#8221; stuff. We are also in the process of editing some longer videos that will be up on the website shortly as well as more photos, reviews and &#8220;how-to&#8221; articles.<br \/>\nHang in there, good stuff is on the way soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry for the lack of posts here in the past couple weeks.
