Been stuck pretty much indoors working on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watermanatwork.com\/Mobile\/MobileHome.html\" target=\"_blank\">watermanatwork.com mobile website<\/a>, so we had to get while the gettin&#8217;s good. The sun was out, but it was cold, about 38\u00b0F. Headed up the local mountain road and it wasn&#8217;t long before we hit the snow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/watermanatwork.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Snow11-25-15.jpg\" alt=\"Local mountain snow 11-25-15\" title=\"Local mountain snow 11-25-15\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/watermanatwork.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Snow11-25-15.jpg 600w, https:\/\/watermanatwork.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Snow11-25-15-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>After a few hundred feet of climbing, the first snow patches appeared, followed quickly by snow over ice, a result of the local &#8220;freeze-thaw&#8221; phenomenon. Eventually, the road got to the point where is would be unsafe to ride, so we headed back with a chilly downhill.<\/p>\n<p>Looks clear and cold for the next few days so we&#8217;re hoping for a couple rides in the sun before the next cold and rainy stretch of winter sets in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been mostly cold and wet for the past week, so when the sun came out this morning, we had to get outside and ride the bikes.
