With the winters we have around here, everyone looks forward to spring. Unfortunately, the first day of Spring 2011 is looking like the first day of winter.
It’s been raining and snowing off and on here for the past week or so, the snow should be tapering off soon, but the rain is probably going to continue for a couple more months. It’s too muddy to ride the mountain bike, so I try to get out on the road bike whenever I can. I managed to get out between snowstorms yesterday for a quick ride; it was mostly sunny, but cool, about 45 degrees and there was still snow on the road from last week’s mini blizzard. When you only have two 23mm wide tires, you have to be pretty careful riding through the snow.
Hoping at least the snow will stop and it only rains every other day. Starting to think about getting the kayak ready to go. When you are kayak fishing, it doesn’t matter if it’s raining or not.
