The winter season opened with steady snowfall; then ramped up into knarly and dangerous blizzard conditions. On November 23 the ski area was closed due to 70-100mph wind and whiteout conditions. At least three people were killed on the snowy and icy roads to the resort.
Now there are spring conditions with no new snow until late in the Thanksgiving weekend so it will be crowded.
Good news is the upper lift is now open so nearly all the resort; save for the bowls and gated areas are now open. Hope there is more snow for next week.
