The junk Hayes brakes on my mountain bike have kept me off the trails once again. I thought sending the defective brakes to the Hayes factory would take care of the problems but after the Hayes technicians worked on the brakes, they failed completely after a few weeks. That’s two or three weeks of riding missed because of Hayes poor quality control and even worse customer service.
So the road bike comes out and we ride on pavement for a while. Weather is nice; sunny and cool.
Hoping new brakes(not Hayes) will be here soon so I don’t miss too many more perfect riding days.
