Awesome Warm, Sunny Day

It’s easy to complain about the weather here, it’s pretty dismal for most of the year. In return, we get a few months of summer that is absolutely unbeatable. Yesterday was nice, today was like real put on the swim suit and sunscreen, get out the BBQ and have a cold beer summer day. Eighty degrees, thirty percent humidity, sunny; perfect summer weather.
Had a little work to do on the mountain bike, way more fun working on it out in the sunny backyard.

Got the work on the bike done and went into Hood River to shoot a few photos of the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic Hood River Criterium. The event was a bit disorganized, the race website was down all day so nobody knew what time the races started and there were not many people there. Usually the downtown criterium is packed, not many people there today. Still plenty of good racing going on.

Got back to the Hideaway and got the mini Weber set up. I wasn’t able to use it at the old Snowden Rancho, but it looks like a great BBQ season ahead!

BBQ Time

Looks like another nice day tomorrow and I found a new mountain bike trail, so getting the photos from the Mt. Hood Classic up on the WatermanAtWork website may take another day or two. Sorry.
