With a storm approaching, Don and I set out for a quick ride on the local trails. The sunny days we’ve had for the past week have given way to a gray, cloudy and damp day, but not bad enough to prevent us from riding. Out from the rancho, past the neighbor’s dogs and into the woods. Did a little trail maintenance along the way, moving a downed tree off one of the main trails. Still can’t move one of the big blowdowns, so we just ride over it.
Rode to the top of the mountain where we saw a rainstorm coming down the Gorge, right at us. It’s kind of cool to see a storm a couple miles away knowing you can probably outrun it on your bike.
Got back to the ranch in a light drizzle and headed down to Everybody’s for a few Country Boy IPAs. Not a bad day in the boonies.
