I apologize for the blog inactivity here at watermanatwork.com. There’s a lot going on that makes kayak fishing rather insignificant and I am caught up in it. Along with the general decline of Western Civilization, I also have been switching my computers over to Linux. There will be no Windows 11 and beyond.
The salmon season has started here and it is an absolute zoo. I don’t think the fishing is that good, but I don’t keep track any more. I’m glad I got to fish for salmon in years past. The poor condition of the lower Colorado River, hotter and windier weather and the probability of the area becoming a border military zone mean probably no more kayak fishing for largemouth bass on the Colorado River. There’s a lot of bad things going on there.
Good news is that while holed up in the Cascade Mountains, I have edited a bunch of great kayak fishing videos and will be uploading them to YouTube when I get a better internet connection.
That’s it for now. Stay tuned for the new fishing video announcement here.
Happy to hear you’re still on the right side of the dirt. That post in March had me worried.
Hanging in there like everyone else.
