Not too much to report on the mountain bike front, so we’ll let the Cascade Mountain bike photos do all the talking. The weather has been pretty good, a bit chilly still at night. Hardly anyone here, but that will change this 4th of July weekend, the official start of the Pacific Northwest summer. The rides are getting a little longer as what’s left of my old body gets into better riding shape. No matter how good my condition is, if I want to go for an all-day mountain bike ride, I will need to go somewhere flatter.
A little too much water here.
The bike has to be cleaned and lubed every few rides because of the dust. The bike stand makes this real easy. I don’t usually bring the bike stand because it’s heavy and awkward, but I needed to do some major repair on the bike so I brought it along.
A logging truck speeding by jolts you from any kind of wilderness experience you might be having.
That’s it for now. Everyone have a safe July fourth weekend and we’ll be back with more Cascade Mountain biking shortly. Check back soon!
