Yesterday we hit the local lake where the fishing was pretty good. At least the sun was out and it was warm, still a little windy.
Today we headed a little higher up into the hills. Much cooler, but sunny and not as windy in the morning.
The fishing was good; caught at least ten rainbow trout and had at least another dozen get away. Plenty of short hits as well. The lake water is still in the low to mid forties.
