Lots of weather going on right now, most of it bad. It’s been raining, it snowed last night and this morning and today the sun actually came out. With rain in the forecast for the next month or so, you have to get out whenever you can. This is a dynamic area for weather. You can look to your right it will be raining, look to the left, it will be sunny. That’s how it was today.
In about an hour or so of riding, it was cloudy, sunny, windy and rainy. Sunglasses and rain jacket are the way to go. The road was mostly dry, but there are wet spots and still plenty of gravel on the road from the winter snow plows and in spots there is still snow on the side of the road. The sun would come out and it felt really good, but it sure made the clouds in the distance look really dark.
I’m trying to be optimistic, but I don’t think we are going to see the sun for a couple days, at least.
