The weather has been more like late December than late November, but you have to take it as it comes around here. Another half foot of snow overnight last night followed by a full day of snow and freezing rain. Driving around has been treacherous, to say the least. Heck, it’s tough to walk around without slipping on ice or snow.
Plenty of snow at the rancho. Lots of shoveling snow today; light stuff in the morning, after a full day of wet snow/freezing rain, it was “heart attack” snow; shoveling the stuff was a full workout.
The new snowshoes should be here in a day or two, we are getting anxious to head into the backcountry for some snowboarding. We’ve skiied and snowboarded nearly every major resort as well as many of the smaller resorts, we are ready to take winter sports to a new level. Stay tuned.
