Great Trail Riding At The Syncline

It usually rains a lot here this time of year, not so much this year, but anyway, the first place to dry out is The Syncline. The soil is pretty rocky, so it drains quicker than dirt, there are a couple creeks that run down the side of the mountain that help drain the water away and it is in the sun most of the day. It’s been raining and snowing off and on for the past few days, sunny yesterday, just about the minimum time needed for the Syncline trails to be dry enough to ride without damaging the trail.
The trails were wet and muddy in spots but the conditions were pretty good.

For the most part, the trails were in great shape. One of the trails, the one furthest to the east, is having a lot of trail work done on it so we didn’t bother going over there.

We are headed back there early tomorrow, looking forward to a fun day riding with beautiful sunny weather.
