Unbelievably nice day here in the Pacific NW for the end of November. It’s been pretty damp and gray for the past week; but when it’s nice, it’s really nice. Sunny, crisp and clean. The sun is up, The sky is blue, I went outside, It was forty two.

The winter season opened with steady snowfall; then ramped up into knarly and dangerous blizzard conditions. On November 23 the ski area was closed due to 70-100mph wind and whiteout conditions. Nighttime temps are dropping; the ground is covered with thick frost every morning but it warms up enough to get out on the trails.
