Today started out clear and sunny, but by the time I had taken care of some business and got ready to head out on the bike, clouds appeared in the sky and there was a little bit of drizzle. Showers were on the way to the Gorge. In the Pacific Northwest, when they say there is a 50% chance of rain, that means it is raining in half the area. Depending where you are at, it may or may not be raining. If it isn’t raining, you’ll need to wait about fifteen minutes.
There were a few light sprinkles and storm cells could be seen all around the valley but there were no real rain showers.
Still green and damp in the forest
Real dark in the deeper parts of the woods because of the clouds, even at mid day
Out in the open, when the sun poked through the clouds, it was all green
All in all, a pretty decent day, especially on the downhills
Hopefully, the good weather will continue. It would be nice if the wind would die down so we could do a little kayak fishing.
