Ride To The Clouds

After a couple weeks of rain, we finally got a couple days of relatively dry, but cold weather. Cold or not, when it’s not raining this time of year, you get outside because you never know when the next dry day is going to be.
We headed out the door for a mountain bike ride in the Cascade Mountain foothills around Hood River, Oregon. The sun was out but it was pretty chilly; about 39° when we left. As we rode up one of the roads towards the top of the hills, you could look out across the Hood River valley to see Mt. Hood poking through the clouds

As we reached the upper sections of the road, the sun disappeared into the thick clouds, the temperature dropped and a sunny ride quickly turned into a cloudy ride.

In The Clouds

We turned off the gravel road onto a section of singletrack. The trail was still wet from the previous days of non-stop rain and there were numerous puddles, but it was still in pretty good shape. With the clouds sitting right on top of the mountains, the trail is not going to dry out very much even if it doesn’t rain. Still, at this time of year you take what you can get. Hoping for a couple more days of dry weather coming up to get outside again,

watermanatwork.com Improvements
The weather has not been so great the past couple weeks but we’ve been using the indoor time to improve the watermanatwork.com website. The website will be easier to use, especially when viewing the many photos. When the upgrade is finished, we will be adding a lot more photos as well as more and longer video clips, so stop by and have a look.
