Well, today when I went to download photos from a mountain bike ride, I couldn’t find my camera. The reason I couldn’t find it is because I set it on the roof of my truck when the ride was over and I drove away without taking it off the roof. Pretty stupid, but it happens more often than you might think. The Canon A570IS took thousands of photos, many of the photos on this blog were taken with it. Dropped it a couple times and it was showing a little wear, but it still worked.
I’ll be ordering another “expedition” camera in a day or so after I do a little research, I’ll talk a little about digital cameras in the next week while posting photos taken with a not so good camera, so bear with me.
We’ve got a significant adventure planned for tomorrow, will probably shoot some HD video and a few crappy photos.
I was just informed about this website with special mention of the blogs. How cool was it to see the first blog about filming some mountain biking. It didn’t suprise me to find you driving off without the camera, but it does seem a bit shocking to see how well you appear to have dealt with this loss. I wonder if any colorful language was used. Probably not.
