Riding up to the top of one of the ridges that surrounds the Hood River Valley, you come across foothill meadows, green with grass and spring flowers
This is one of the first trails I rode when I moved to the Pacific Northwest. Parts of it have changed quite a bit due to heavy logging operations, but it’s back in business now and still fun as always
When you get to the higher elevations, the view is pretty good
After a couple hours of riding, there is one long final climb out of the valley
All in all, a pretty good day of riding.
